CVE-2025-47916Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated PHP execution via template injection

Published May 16, 2025 · Updated May 17, 2025

Server-side template injection in Invision Community 5.0.0 through 5.0.6 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code. The themeeditor controller's customCss method passes the content request parameter to Theme::makeProcessFunction, which evaluates it as template syntax. No authentication is required, and successful exploitation runs attacker-supplied PHP in the web application's security context.
