Authenticated command execution via unsanitized SQL parameter
Published Oct 20, 2025 · Updated Oct 20, 2025
SQL injection in Microchip TimeProvider 4100 firmware before 2.5 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands via the management WebGUI. The WebGUI places an authenticated request parameter into an affected SQL query without sanitizing it, allowing injected SQL to alter the query. The flaw requires authentication on the separate management port; Microchip reports system-command execution but no direct vulnerable-system disclosure.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
