CVE-2025-47866Network attack vector

Authenticated arbitrary file upload via modTMCM widget

Published Jun 17, 2025 · Updated Jun 17, 2025

Unrestricted file upload in Trend Micro Apex Central 8.0 before 8.0.6955 allows remote authenticated users to write arbitrary files. The modTMCM webapp widget accepts user-supplied upload data without proper validation, permitting arbitrary file placement on the server. A valid account is required; the uploaded file can be combined with another flaw to execute code under the limited IUSR web-service identity.
