Arbitrary command execution via crafted CLI commands
Published Aug 12, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026
OS command injection in the FortiWeb CLI 7.4.1 through 7.4.8 and 7.6.0 through 7.6.3 allows local users to execute commands. Fortinet identifies the CLI as the locus but has not published the affected command or how crafted input reaches the operating-system command. Successful exploitation requires privileged CLI access and permits arbitrary code or command execution with the appliance's authority.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
