Secure Boot bypass via unsigned root filesystem

Secure Boot bypass in IGEL OS 10 allows physically proximate attackers to boot an unverified system partition from disk. The igel-flash-driver kernel module accepts a SquashFS root filesystem without verifying its cryptographic signature after signed shim, GRUB, and kernel stages load. Physical access is required to alter the on-disk image, after which the available kexec_load syscall permits replacement of the running kernel with an untrusted one.
