Firmware disclosure via disabled flash encryption

Cleartext firmware storage in Flock Safety Gunshot Detection devices before 1.3 allows physically proximate attackers to read device code. The ESP32 flash-encryption fuses are left unset, so firmware read through the exposed UART download path yields a plaintext image. Physical access to the pole-mounted sensor and hardware debugging knowledge are required; cloud evidence and metadata are not exposed.
