Credential disclosure via receiving-view id SQL injection
Published May 16, 2025 · Updated May 16, 2025
SQL injection in Stock Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read credentials through the receiving-view id parameter. The receiving view incorporates the id value into a backend query without neutralizing SQL syntax, enabling a UNION SELECT from the users table. A staff account is sufficient; a crafted request returns usernames and MD5 password hashes, with no demonstrated direct code execution.
