Installation path disclosure via overlong UID cookie
Published Jul 10, 2025 · Updated Mar 17, 2026
Information disclosure in Wing FTP Server before 7.4.4 allows remote authenticated users to read its full local installation path. The loginok.html endpoint accepts a UID cookie longer than the operating system path limit and returns the resulting error with the full server path. A valid account is required, and the disclosed path can supply filesystem context for subsequent attacks.
