Authenticated message spoofing via malformed From header

Improper SIP MESSAGE authentication in Asterisk allows remote authenticated users to spoof sender identities with malformed From headers. The PJSIP MESSAGE path treats the display name before a semicolon as the forwarded sender while digest authentication validates the URI username after it. A valid endpoint account and a dialplan that forwards MESSAGE(from) are required; exploitation injects deceptive chat messages without reading data or interrupting service.
