Stored XSS in 5ire before 0.11.1 allows remote attackers to execute code through malicious HTML or JavaScript in chatbot responses. The useMarkdown renderer passes Markdown output to the DOM without sanitization, while the open-external IPC handler forwards arbitrary URL schemes to Electron's shell. Execution requires interaction with untrusted chatbot or pasted content; injected script can invoke exposed Electron APIs and launch native applications.
