Stack-based buffer overflow in Fuji Electric V-SFT 6.2.5.0 and earlier allows attackers to execute code when a user opens a crafted V7 or V8 file. The VS6MemInIF!set_temp_type_default function writes crafted file data beyond a stack buffer. Exploitation requires user interaction on the Windows workstation and can also disclose information or terminate the editor.
