Code execution via stack overflow in project-file parsing

Stack-based buffer overflow in Fuji Electric V-SFT 6.2.5.0 and earlier allows attackers to execute code through crafted V7 or V8 files. The VS6ComFile!CV7BaseMap::WriteV7DataToRom function writes file-derived data beyond a stack buffer while parsing the file. Exploitation requires a user to open the file and can disclose information, terminate the application abnormally, or execute arbitrary code.
