Code execution via crafted project file parsing
Published May 19, 2025 · Updated May 19, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in Fuji Electric V-SFT 6.2.5.0 and earlier allows local users to execute code by opening a crafted V7 or V8 file. VS6EditData!CGamenDataRom::set_mr400_strc reads beyond a buffer while parsing attacker-controlled project data. Exploitation requires user interaction and can also disclose process data or terminate the application abnormally.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
