Code execution via crafted macro data
Published May 19, 2025 · Updated May 19, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in Fuji Electric V-SFT 6.2.5.0 and earlier allows attackers to execute code by opening a crafted V7 or V8 file. The VS6EditData!Conv_Macro_Data function reads beyond a buffer while converting untrusted macro data from the screen program. Exploitation requires a user to open the file and can disclose process memory, crash the editor, or execute code in the editor's context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
