Code execution via crafted project-file buffer overwrite
Published May 19, 2025 · Updated May 19, 2025
Out-of-bounds write in Fuji Electric V-SFT 6.2.5.0 and earlier allows attackers to execute arbitrary code through crafted V7 or V8 files. VS6ComFile!MakeItemGlidZahyou writes beyond the intended buffer while parsing attacker-controlled project-file data. Execution requires a user to open the file; successful exploitation can also disclose information or crash the application.
