Invalid-pointer release in Fuji Electric V-SFT 6.2.5.0 and earlier allows local users to execute code via a crafted V7 or V8 file. The CWinFontInf::WinFontMsgCheck function in VS6EditData.dll frees a pointer that does not reference the start of its buffer while parsing the file. Exploitation requires a user to open the file and grants code execution in the editor process, with data disclosure or a crash also possible.
