CVE-2025-47729Known exploitation

Message disclosure via cleartext archive storage

Published May 8, 2025 · Updated Oct 21, 2025

Hidden functionality in TeleMessage Archiving Backend through 2025-05-05 allows attackers to read TM SGNL messages in cleartext. Rather than preserving the documented end-to-end encryption boundary, the backend retains readable message copies in its archive. Exploitation requires high-privilege access to the hosted backend, and the demonstrated consequence is disclosure of archived conversations.
