CVE-2025-47725

Code execution via DPB parser out-of-bounds write

Published Jun 4, 2025 · Updated Jun 4, 2025

Out-of-bounds write in CNCSoft 1.01.34 and earlier allows attackers to execute code when a user opens a malicious DPB file. The Screen Editor module fails to validate user-supplied data while parsing DPB files and writes past the end of an allocated data structure. Exploitation requires a user to open the file or visit malicious content, and code runs with the current process's privileges.
