Published May 7, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored XSS in Really Simple Under Construction Page 1.4.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in visitors' browsers. The Under Construction HTML setting insufficiently sanitizes and escapes saved markup, allowing script tags, event handlers, and javascript: URIs to persist and render. Administrator access and a victim viewing the injected page are required, with exposure limited to multisite installations or sites where unfiltered_html is disabled.
