Unauthenticated code execution via unchecked file upload
Published May 19, 2025 · Updated May 12, 2026
Unrestricted file upload in TI WooCommerce Wishlist 2.9.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to upload a web shell without authentication. The WC Fields Factory integration passes a front-end multipart file field to WordPress upload handling without enforcing MIME-type or content validation. The path is exposed only when that companion plugin is installed and its integration is enabled, and an uploaded PHP file executes in the web server's context.
