CVE-2025-47562Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Content disclosure via unauthorized shortcode rendering

Published May 16, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026

Code injection in RomanCode MapSVG 8.5.34 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary WordPress shortcodes. The mapsvg_shortcode_inline request parameter reaches do_shortcode() in the plugin shortcode-rendering path without authorization or a shortcode allowlist. No WordPress account or user interaction is required, and reachable shortcodes can disclose site content without the CNA reporting integrity or availability impact.
