Unauthenticated LAN address change via netconfig.asp
Published May 16, 2025 · Updated May 16, 2025
Authentication bypass in D-Link DI-7003GV2 24.04.18D1 R(68125) allows remote attackers to change the router's LAN IP address. The /H5/netconfig.asp handler sub_497DE4 accepts an unauthenticated lan_ipaddr query value, validates it as an IP address, and writes it as the LAN address. A single crafted GET request moves the management interface to a new address, interrupting router access and potentially disrupting the network.
