Authenticated code execution via local file inclusion
Published May 7, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Local file inclusion in Xylus Themes XT Event Widget for Social Events 1.1.7 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP code. The render_facebook_event_listing() function passes an attacker-controlled file path to PHP's inclusion mechanism without restricting it to approved templates. Contributor-level access is required, and code execution depends on placing PHP content in a local file that the function can include.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
