Published May 7, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Missing authorization in GS Variation Swatches for WooCommerce 3.0.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to modify plugin settings. The ajax_handler() function accepts settings changes without verifying that the requester has the required WordPress capability. Contributor-level access is sufficient, and the documented consequence is unauthorized modification of the plugin's configuration.
