Contributor-level script execution in privileged user context
Published May 7, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
DOM-based cross-site scripting in Seb WP DPE-GES 1.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute script via crafted content. Neither Patchstack nor the upstream changelog discloses the affected DOM sink or the unsafe operation performed on attacker-controlled input. Contributor privileges and interaction by a privileged user are required; successful exploitation runs script in that user's browser context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
