CVE-2025-47502Network attack vector

Stored XSS via unescaped shortcode form ID

Published May 7, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026

Stored XSS in Nick van Wobbie Mollie Forms 2.7.12 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute script in a visitor's browser. The addMollieFormsTotalShortcode handler concatenates an invalid, attacker-controlled form ID into its error response without escaping it. Contributor access is required to save the crafted shortcode, and the script runs in the site's origin only when another user views the rendered page.
