Authenticated option modification via missing capability check
Published May 7, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Missing authorization in EnvoThemes Envo Extra 1.9.9 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to modify the selected domain option. The save_domain_switcher_ajax() function updates that option without checking the caller's WordPress capability. Subscriber-level access is sufficient; the documented consequence is limited to changing the selected domain option.
