Published May 7, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Missing authorization in Creative Themes Blocksy 2.0.97 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to install WordPress plugins. The wp_ajax_blocksy_notice_button_click AJAX handler processes plugin-installation requests without checking the caller's capabilities. Administrator-level access is required, and exposure is limited to configurations such as multisite deployments where administrators lack normal plugin-installation rights.
