Authenticated code execution via unsafe template inclusion
Published May 7, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Local file inclusion in WP Chill Download Monitor 5.0.22 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute server-side PHP code. The get_template_part() function accepts an attacker-controlled local filename and includes it without restricting the selected file. Contributor-level access is required; inclusion of an uploaded file containing PHP grants code execution in the WordPress server context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
