CVE-2025-47421Network attack vector

Administrator-to-OS escalation via crafted SCP command

Published Sep 3, 2025 · Updated Sep 3, 2025

Argument injection in Crestron TSW-70 touch screens 3.001.0031.001 through 3.001.0034.001 allows remote authenticated users to gain OS access. The SSH login string accepts a specially crafted SCP command without neutralizing argument delimiters before command execution. A valid device administrator account is required; successful exploitation crosses the restricted interface into privileged operating-system access.
