Credential disclosure via cleartext Web and API traffic

Cleartext transmission in Crestron Electronics Automate VX 5.6.8161.21536 through 6.4.0.49 allows remote attackers to intercept credentials. The Web UI and API accept connections on nonsecure ports and transmit sensitive data, including user passwords, without transport encryption. An attacker positioned to observe traffic between a user and the device can read those credentials; no account or user interaction is required.
