Video exposure via unmarked debug snapshots
Published May 6, 2025 · Updated May 8, 2025
Sensitive information exposure in Crestron Automate VX 5.6.8161.21536 through 6.4.0.49 allows attackers to capture video snapshots. The Enable Debug Images setting stores snapshots of captured video or portions of frames on the local system without a visible indication. Exploitation requires the setting to be active and high-privilege network access; the resulting exposure is limited to captured video content.
