CVE-2025-47406

Local information disclosure via unchecked IOCTL buffer

Published May 4, 2026 · Updated May 4, 2026

Buffer over-read in Qualcomm Snapdragon DSP services allows local users to disclose information through a crafted IOCTL request. The IOCTL callback handlers process a supplied buffer without first verifying its size, permitting a read beyond the intended boundary. Low-privileged local access is required; the read can expose adjacent memory and cause a limited service interruption.
