Buffer over-read in Qualcomm Snapdragon WCN7861 WLAN firmware allows remote attackers to interrupt service with a crafted management frame. The parser reads beyond the available data while handling a Vendor Specific Information Element; Qualcomm has not identified the affected routine. An unauthenticated attacker within adjacent WLAN range can trigger a transient service interruption without user interaction, with no reported data exposure or modification.
