CVE-2025-47390

Memory corruption via JPEG driver IOCTL over-read

Published Apr 6, 2026 · Updated Apr 6, 2026

A buffer over-read in Qualcomm Snapdragon's JPEG driver allows local users to corrupt memory through a crafted IOCTL request. During request preprocessing, the driver reads past a buffer boundary; Qualcomm has not disclosed the affected buffer or omitted validation. Low-privilege local access is required without user interaction; the vendor does not disclose whether the corruption yields data access, code execution, or a crash.
