Database manipulation via unsanitized Med_ID query
Published May 16, 2025 · Updated May 16, 2025
SQL injection in Projectworlds Hospital Database Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to manipulate database queries via Med_ID. The medicines_info.php handler inserts the POST Med_ID value directly into a MySQL query without validation or parameter binding. No login or user interaction is required, and the published proof of concept demonstrates error-based and time-based injection that can expose or alter database data and interrupt service.
