Transient service interruption via oversized MAC config ID
Published Mar 2, 2026 · Updated Mar 2, 2026
Reachable assertion in Qualcomm Snapdragon firmware allows adjacent attackers to interrupt service with an oversized MAC configuration ID. The MAC firmware accepts an identifier above its supported maximum and reaches an assertion instead of rejecting the value. Exploitation requires adjacent access but no authentication or user interaction, and the resulting service interruption is transient.
