Memory corruption in Snapdragon sensor processing allows local users to corrupt privileged memory through crafted IOCTL input. The preprocessing path dereferences an untrusted pointer supplied through a sensor IOCTL, but Qualcomm has not disclosed the affected function or whether the dereference reads or writes memory. Low-privilege local access is required, and the exact consequence beyond memory corruption is undisclosed.
