Memory corruption via oversized ELF image

Memory corruption in Qualcomm Snapdragon Auto boot code allows local users to overwrite memory via a corrupted oversized ELF image. The boot image loader copies an ELF image whose declared file size exceeds the destination buffer without first validating the copy length. Exploitation requires local delivery of a malformed boot image but no authentication or user interaction, and the resulting overwrite can compromise protected boot execution state.
