CVE-2025-47357

Local fuse disclosure via unauthenticated QFPROM operations

Published Nov 4, 2025 · Updated Nov 4, 2025

Missing authentication in SMSS on affected Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets allows local users to disclose QFPROM fuse-region data. A user-level driver can issue QFPROM read or write operations against Fuse regions without the critical-function authentication expected by SMSS. Local code execution is required; unauthorized reads expose protected fuse contents, while unauthorized writes can alter them and interrupt the device.
