CVE-2025-47354

Memory corruption via unreleased allocation mutex

Published Oct 9, 2025 · Updated Oct 9, 2025

Use-after-free in the Qualcomm Snapdragon DSP service allows local users to corrupt memory while allocating DSP buffers. The fastrpc_map_create error path returns without unlocking map_mutex, leaving the DSP buffer-mapping operation under a retained mutex. Low-privileged local access is required; successful exploitation can expose or alter protected memory or crash the affected device.
