CVE-2025-47351

Memory corruption via unsafe ALIGN macro usage

Published Oct 9, 2025 · Updated Oct 9, 2025

Integer overflow in Qualcomm Snapdragon DSP Service allows local users to corrupt memory through crafted user buffers. The fastrpc_get_payload_size function in dsp/fastrpc.c passes a user-controlled size to the overflow-unsafe ALIGN macro without first checking the arithmetic bound. Low-privilege local access is required; successful exploitation can expose or alter protected data or crash the device.
