CVE-2025-47335

High-privilege memory corruption via unchecked clock parsing

Published Jan 6, 2026 · Updated Jan 6, 2026

Buffer overflow in Qualcomm Snapdragon camera drivers allows local users with high privileges to corrupt memory through crafted clock data. The driver copies clock configuration input for a specific hardware type into a buffer without verifying that the destination can hold it. The high-privilege gate limits reachability; successful exploitation can read or alter protected data or crash the affected device.
