Local memory corruption via unchecked packet copy

Buffer overflow in Qualcomm Snapdragon Core Services allows local users to corrupt memory with crafted packets from Unix clients. The service copies a packet without validating its length against the destination buffer, allowing oversized input to overwrite adjacent memory. Exploitation requires local low-privileged access and no user interaction; Qualcomm does not disclose whether the corruption provides reliable code execution.
