Authenticated memory corruption via oversized ip6addr value
Published May 16, 2025 · Updated May 16, 2025
Buffer overflow in TOTOLINK A3002R and A3002RU 3.0.0-B20230809.1615 allows remote authenticated users to corrupt router memory. The /boafrm/formFilter POST handler accepts an oversized ip6addr value without enforcing the destination buffer's bounds. Administrative web access is required; successful exploitation can crash the HTTP service or redirect affected-process execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
