CVE-2025-47317

Local memory corruption via invalid test payload

Published Sep 24, 2025 · Updated Sep 24, 2025

Buffer over-read in the Bluetooth controller of Qualcomm Snapdragon platforms allows local users to corrupt memory through a test command. The controller handles an invalid payload type without keeping the resulting global-buffer read within bounds. Low-privileged local access is required, and Qualcomm has not disclosed whether the corruption causes a crash, leaks data, or enables code execution.
