XXE and SSRF in PowSyBl Core before 6.7.2 allow remote attackers to read sensitive files through imported CGMES or XIIDM files. Affected parsing paths instantiate XMLInputFactory without the security properties added by the patch, allowing external entity URIs to resolve local files or remote resources. Exposure requires an application to accept untrusted CGMES or XIIDM network files; the bounded consequences are file disclosure and server-side requests.
