CVE-2025-47280Network attack vector

Trusted-email HTML injection via unencoded form values

Published May 13, 2025 · Updated May 13, 2025

HTML injection in Umbraco Forms 7.0.0 through 13.4.1 and 14.0.0 through 15.1.1 allows remote attackers to inject HTML into trusted emails. The SendEmail workflow inserts user-supplied field values into the HTML message body without encoding them for the email context. Exploitation requires a reachable form configured with that workflow and a recipient to render the message, letting attacker-controlled content inherit a trusted sender.
