CVE-2025-47226Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated asset disclosure via missing location gate

Published May 2, 2025 · Updated May 5, 2025

Incorrect authorization in Grokability Snipe-IT before 8.1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read other departments' asset inventories. The /locations/{id}/printassigned handler trusted a user-controlled location identifier without enforcing the corresponding location authorization gate. Any low-privileged account that can reach this endpoint can substitute another location ID and view its assigned assets, with no reported write or service-interruption impact.
