Admin file overwrite via unrestricted archive paths
Published Nov 13, 2025 · Updated Dec 17, 2025
Arbitrary file write in Keyfactor SignServer before 7.3.2 allows remote authenticated users with Admin access to overwrite server files. The ArchiveToDisk configuration accepts unrestricted values for ARCHIVETODISK_FILENAME-PATTERN, ARCHIVETODISK_PATH_BASE, and ARCHIVETODISK_PATH_PATTERN, including paths to existing files. An authorized Admin must set the properties, and writes are limited to directories and files accessible to the local JBoss account.
